CHILD SAFETY
Child Safety Mission Statement
Montrose Netball Club is committed to creating a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all members, especially children. All children and young people in our Club have a right to feel safe and protected from all forms of abuse and harm. We commit to embedding child safe practices within our organisation and have zero-tolerance towards any form of child abuse.
Child Safe Policy and Code of Conduct
Montrose Netball Club stands by and adheres to Netball Victoria’s Commitment to Child Safety and follows the ‘Child Safety in Netball Policy’ and the ‘Child Safety in Netball Code of Conduct’.
All participants, parents, spectators, contractors, officials, umpires, coaches, and committee members have responsibilities in relation to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people at our Club and are expected to follow the Child Safety in Netball Code of Conduct at all times.

As a club, our committee is continually working towards ensuring that the 11 Child Safe Standards are implemented and that child safeguarding is embedded in the culture of our organisation.
